Cake time...
Cutting the cake was really hard because it was so pretty!
No fancy cake knife, just one from the kitchen.
The cake was delicious!! We should have taken some on our honeymoon with us because by the time we got back what was left over wasn't really any good.
Kylee, a friend we know through riding, caught the bouquet. I don't think it will be too long before she and Chris are throwing a similar party!
Ryan, Marti's brother, and his wife Jessica and their children were down in San Diego with us for the wedding. We didn't get any pictures with them down there because they were having some car trouble. So to make up for it, we snagged them at the reception to commemorate their trip down!
The Morrow Family, neighbors of my parents, have been more like family to us than simply neighbors. Linda was a major help to my mom as she and Lynne prepared for the wedding. She even made most of the food for my bridal shower. Our family has been so blessed to have the Morrow Family as neighbors over the years!!
Here my mom stands between her two younger brothers. I was so excited that they were both able to make it out here for the wedding activities!!! I think my mom was pretty excited too!
My mom and her side of the family. Janet, Redd, mom, dad, Homer, and Patti. (It's not often that these six people are able to stand that close to one another.)
And, as the best man, Rob was in charge of decorating our chariot (along with the help of most of the wedding party!)
I must say that they did an excellent job! I had heard stories about the decorating done by Dave and accomplices, I was kind of worried when I realized it would be my car that fell victim, but it was awesome!!
They left just enough room for Jesse and I to squeeze in! It was quite an experiencing driving the short distance to our new abode.
Here's Maddie, Adam's daughter, playing with one of the umbrellas we used for decorating. All of the little girls that were there during clean up thoroughly enjoyed playing with them.
This is just a really good picture of my parents!
I am so grateful for all the work and money that our parents put in to make our reception everything I ever wanted (I say I because Jesse didn't have any opinions on the matter). I love all four of them so much.
